Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a convenient location with free parking and a lovely view of the river Thames. The rooms were a bit worn and noisy due to the proximity to the railway bridge, but the double bed and bed settee provided a comfortable stay. The staff was accommodating and helpful, especially when we needed to change rooms due to a shower issue. The dining experience offered a fresh and varied selection with a view of the river. However, the layout of the hotel was challenging to navigate with twisting corridors. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the bright side, the location was convenient with easy access from the bus and train stations, making it a major plus. However, the lack of AC in the rooms despite the website's claim of 'air cooling' was disappointing. The service was excellent, with staff available around the clock to assist with any needs, although the room's view didn't include the river. Dining, while offering rare British dishes like bacon and sausage, was deemed overpriced, pushing guests to seek alternatives. Overall, a decent stay with some notable drawbacks to consider.
